Job summary

Knowesis is seeking a Public Relations Manager to develop strategic communication products, outreach materials, and executive messaging to support stakeholder engagement and council operations. The position is based in Arlington, VA with approved Telework.

Required DHS Suitability for Public Trust and experience in strategic communications or PR. This role includes coordinating with stakeholders and managing external-facing materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic communications, public relations, or graphic design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (Public Trust).

Responsibilities

• Develop a wide range of communication products, including emails, memos, public messaging, graphic design, and social media content.
• Create outreach materials, executive summaries, and externally facing products.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, solicit participation, and prepare materials.
• Manage designated mailboxes, acknowledge inquiries promptly, and maintain inquiry logs in accordance with policy.

Anticipated Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000

Knowesis is seeking a Public Relations Manager to develop strategic communication products, outreach materials, and executive messaging to support stakeholder engagement and council operations.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop a wide range of communication products, including emails, memos, public messaging, graphic design, and social media content.
• Create outreach materials, executive summaries, and externally facing products.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, solicit participation, and prepare materials.
• Manage designated mailboxes, acknowledge inquiries promptly, and maintain inquiry logs in accordance with policy.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in strategic communications, public relations, or graphic design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability (Public Trust).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing communications for federal advisory committees or executive leadership.
