Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and passionate Public Relations Manager to lead our media outreach and elevate our public profile. Your primary responsibility will be securing speaking engagements, podcast appearances, and media opportunities for our CEO—an expert and thought leader in surrogacy, adoption, fertility, and family building.

This role is ideal for someone with strong media connections, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in reproductive health, family advocacy, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a PR strategy to position our CEO as a leading voice in the surrogacy and fertility space.
• Research and pitch speaking opportunities at conferences, panels, podcasts, webinars, and media outlets.
• Write compelling pitches, media kits, bios, press releases, and thought leadership content.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, podcast hosts, event organizers, and influencers in related fields.
• Track and manage all outreach, follow-ups, bookings, and appearances.
• Collaborate with our marketing team to amplify media coverage across social channels and newsletters.
• Monitor trends and conversations in fertility, adoption, surrogacy, and LGBTQ+ family building to align with timely opportunities.
• Prepare the CEO with talking points, interview briefs, and post-event/media debriefs.
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or media outreach (experience in health, fertility, or nonprofit sectors a plus).
• Proven track record of securing media placements or speaking engagements.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-driven.
• Comfortable working in a small, mission-driven team environment.
• Passion for topics related to surrogacy, family-building, and reproductive health.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with podcast networks, TEDx or fertility-related events.
• Previous work in advocacy, women's health, LGBTQ+ rights, or nonprofit communications.
