Job summary

Wawa, Inc. is seeking a Public Relations Intern for Summer 2027. The full-time internship runs May 17, 2027 – August 5, 2027 at Media, PA, onsite four days per week.

Interns work with the Public Relations team on events, community care, and the Wawa Foundation to deliver real projects and capstone presentations. You will support planning and execution of community events, coordinate communications with partners, and assist with reporting and program activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications or Public Relations.
• Ability to work onsite at Media, PA four days per week.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Previous internship, project, or leadership experience in Public Relations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of community events and volunteer initiatives.
• Coordinate event logistics, communications, and project activities with partners.
• Assist with reporting and program support for community initiatives.
• Contribute to projects that strengthen Wawa's community impact.
• Develop problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
