Job summary

Redding Rancheria is seeking a Public Relations Specialist to support the Public Relations Division, coordinating print jobs and planning all tribal events. The role will prepare and distribute tribal documents, including press releases, and provide reporting, news writing, and photography for tribal publications.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma, CA driver’s license, and Indian preference, with pre-employment drug screening. The incumbent will work closely with the Sr.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience presenting to groups preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license and current insurance required.
• Indian preference.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Produces strategic goals for the organization's public relations operations.
• Manages the public information budget including review of statements.
• Supervises events scheduling, setup, and teardown.
• Creates templates for press releases for Tribe entities.
• Gathers information for charitable activities and civic groups.
• Produces scripts for TV, radio and social media ads.
• Coordinates social posts for events and updates.
• Monitors and responds to social media accounts.
