Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a PR Account Executive on the growing SamsonPR East Coast Team, reporting to the Vice President. This person should have a background in B2B technology, preferably with experience working with adtech, martech and retail media companies.

The Account Executive will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing communication strategies, pitching media, overseeing PR campaigns, and analyzing results to ensure alignment with client goals. The ideal candidate will have strong media relations skills within retail media, adtech, martech, AI, business and general tech, pitch reporters, handle all admin tasks and provide measurable results for our clients.

This position is focused on helping drive great media coverage for our clients with a mixture of admin and strategy. We have some really innovative clients that are great to work with! Tier 1 media relationships across tech, business and various verticals is important, as we build solid relationships between our clients and media. This position will work on media coverage for our clients, along with running the speaking and awards programs and social media, while also developing bylines and thought leadership content, as applicable.

Although the position is remote, we are only accepting resumes for the AE position for NYC-based PR candidates.

What you'll be doing:

• Complete daily scans, draft meeting agendas and recaps, monitor for media coverage, clips and more
• Accurate reporting - meeting deadlines for monthly, quarterly, etc. and including the right content
• Develop a strong knowledge of the media that influence your client's stakeholders (customers, prospects, and investors)
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant journalists
• Build and maintain editorial, speaking, and awards calendars
• Independently develop media pitches and secure relevant opportunities and results
• Create media background and briefing materials to help prepare clients for interviews
• Demonstrate expertise in your client's business and industry and know your client's competitors

Qualifications

• Analytical Thinking and Results Analysis skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Cision,Muck Rackand Google Suite
• 3-5 years of experience in the PR technology industry
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field
• Ability to work remote
• Must live in NYC
