Job summary

Golden Gate Regional Center is seeking a detail-oriented CPRA and Appeals support professional to oversee public records requests and privacy compliance. You will coordinate with multiple departments, redact records, and maintain policy logs while ensuring HIPAA safeguards.

The role requires managing high-volume requests, data analysis for internal reports, and supporting appeals processes with strong judgment and discretion. Travel within the Bay Area and statewide as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree in public policy, public administration, political science, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in CPRA or equivalent public records legislation is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with government operations, transparency laws, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all public records requests.
• Track, analyze, and respond to requests in CPRA compliance and internal policies.
• Coordinate with departments to access and compile electronic and physical records.
• Redact records and maintain redaction logs.
• Manage high-volume requests professionally and timely.
• Develop, implement, and update records management and privacy compliance policies.
