Job summary

Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles is seeking a results-driven Program Administrator to lead learning and community engagement initiatives across digital inclusion, childcare, youth development, and related services. This role requires coordinating programs, budgets, and staff while building sustainable partnerships with external organizations and community groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, social work or a closely related field.
• Three years of professional program administration experience, including at least one year in the assigned field.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and administration; strong oral and written communication.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate across multiple partners.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, implement and evaluate program areas such as digital inclusion, childcare, youth development, fund raising and sponsor identification, community and cultural arts, recreational services, family and senior services.
• Oversee utilization and programming of Computer Labs and public spaces to be centers for learning, engagement, wellness and positive activity; develop capital investments to improve functionality.
• Develop and nurture partnerships with other organizations to leverage resources and provide meaningful programs to residents.
• Prepare reports, budgets, grant proposals, contracts and executive briefings; supervise assigned staff.
• Participate in committees, meetings and coordinate with staff and external partners to secure support.
