Job summary

RI Council 94 is seeking a Programming Services Officer in Cranston to support department priorities and manage program services for employees and the public.

The role requires strong organizational and written skills, project management ability, and proficiency in Microsoft applications. You will work under general supervision and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a college with specialization in business management, social sciences or related field.
• Experience in supervisory position in a public/private agency managing service programs.
• Combination of education and experience may be equivalent to the above.

Responsibilities

• Assist head of department by relieving superior of complex duties involved in program development and operation.
• Act as program supervisor and monitor services for effectiveness and efficiency.
• Study procedures and prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate flow of work among programs and reallocate resources as needed.
• Review state and federal laws to ensure compliance in plans and proposals.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist in agency budgeting.
