Job summary

RI Council 94’s Department of Transportation invites an Interdepartmental Project Manager to coordinate cross‑system initiatives, conduct research, fiscal and policy analyses, and help deliver integrated services for consumers of human service programs.

You will represent multiple state departments in meetings with officials, the public and the media, supervise staff specialists, and develop communications and newsletters about legislative changes and their impact. Normal business hours apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public administration or business administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience in research, fiscal analysis, and policy development.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse constituents and officials.

Responsibilities

• Work with state agencies to strengthen cross-system collaboration and implement integrated service policies.
• Manage special project development authorized by a director.
• Perform research, fiscal and policy analysis on issues affecting consumers of human service programs.
• Represent departments in contacts with constituents and officials to explain policies.
