Job summary

Amazon Public Policy is seeking a Manager, Public Policy to develop and coordinate fast-moving policy strategy supporting Earth’s Best Employer commitments. You will liaise between Public Policy and business partners, crafting advocacy objectives for state and local employment policies and leading engagements with external groups.

The role requires strong research, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to align business priorities with public policy goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 8+ years' policy experience.
• Experience with government, public policy, or trade associations.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience leading policy campaigns and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Strong communication with policymakers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate policy issues across state legislatures and regulatory bodies.
• Manage external advocacy efforts and outreach programs.
• Travel as required.
• Lead engagements with trade associations and think tanks.
• Research and analyze employment and workforce policy developments.
