Job summary

ICF in Reston, VA seeks a Public Policy & Comment Analysis Specialist to analyze public comments on federal policy topics and support regulatory initiatives. You will interact with federal clients, direct teams, and contribute to policy papers and technical documents.

The role requires a public policy or related degree with 3+ years of experience or a Master’s with 2+ years, US citizenship, and ability to obtain clearance. Telework flexibility is considered as part of a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience in government or professional services; or Master's + 2 years.
• Experience providing comment analysis support for federal rulemakings and initiatives.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain/maintain a moderate-level government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze public comments on proposed agency rules and initiatives.
• Advise clients on analysis, processing, and management of public feedback.
• Support engagements to develop policies and craft regulations that implement desired policy.
• Perform detailed quality control reviews of draft deliverables.
• Assist agencies in drafting, editing, and formatting federal rulemaking documents.
• Provide day-to-day technical direction to project staff.
• Immerse in varied projects for multiple clients and manage project teams.
• Draft reports and presentations for client delivery.
