Job summary

WSP Global Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Public Involvement Coordinator to support communications and public engagement for transportation infrastructure projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

You will help inform project development and coordinate with stakeholders, clients, and communities. The role requires strong writing, outreach planning, and event coordination skills, plus the ability to travel and work some nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Urban Planning or related field.
• 3-5 years of communications or planning experience.
• Proven experience writing content for website, social media, and media notifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach materials to maximize public awareness of infrastructure projects.
• Organize stakeholder engagements and implement involvement tools and strategies.
• Coordinate and participate in virtual and in-person public meetings and events.
