Job summary

Richman Law & Policy in New York is seeking a full-time Law & Policy Analyst to support litigation and policy work through research and case development, while coordinating the operational needs of a boutique impact-litigation practice. You will conduct factual research, assist with filings and client intake, track testing and collaborate with vendors, attorneys, and partner organizations.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience in a legal, policy, advocacy, or research setting; or equivalent internship experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent writing and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Clio, Google Calendar, Microsoft Office, LEXIS, and PACER/ECF (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Researching factual issues for case development.
• Assisting attorneys with litigation and policy efforts.
• Assisting with tracking product and laboratory testing for potential matters.
• Coordinating with outside vendors, including testing laboratories and consultants.
• Organizing and filing case documents within the firm's file system.
• Assisting with filing, transmitting, and processing legal documents.
• Tracking laboratory and product testing for case-starting and potential matters.
• Communicating with clients, potential clients, and partner organizations.
• Conducting client intake.
• Maintaining the firm's meeting calendars and scheduling external calls and meetings.
• Maintaining the firm's contacts and partner relationships.
