Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Construction Manager/Inspector to join our Cape May, NJ team. The role focuses on inspecting public projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and safety standards.

The candidate should have at least five years of experience inspecting roads, bridges, and utilities, with NICET III certification preferred. You will document findings, coordinate with engineers, and report to clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience inspecting public infrastructure projects.
• NICET III certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable codes/regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of roads, bridges, utilities, and other public infrastructure to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, photos, and reports; prepare client and regulatory reports.
• Work with project managers and engineers to identify and address construction and design issues.
• Monitor contractors for adherence to plans, specifications, and safety procedures.
• Communicate progress, issues, and resolutions to stakeholders.
