Job summary

The Supreme Court of Ohio is seeking three Public Information Interns for a Spring Semester term. This on-site internship supports the Public Information Office by creating engaging communications across multiple platforms for the public and legal community.

The role includes researching, interviewing, writing, and editing stories for diverse audiences. Two openings are unpaid and on-site in Columbus, OH, with one paid position at $21/hour for graduate students.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate. Experience writing in a variety of formats (media release, magazine style, news article, social media, website, internal communication) for a variety of audiences is a plus.
• Excel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Platform Communications: Support communications campaigns and initiatives across the Supreme Court website and the internal Center Source site.
• Content Development: Research, interview, write, and edit stories for a wide and diverse audience.
• Event & Program Planning: Assist with planning and logistics for off site court events and programs.
• Research & Media Analysis: Conduct research on media markets, geographic coverage areas, and other fact finding projects.
