Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a skilled communications professional to develop and disseminate NMVVRC/NCVC materials. You will plan national campaigns, oversee editorial standards, and manage a wide range of media initiatives to raise awareness across multiple channels.

You will supervise a Public Information Coordinator, coordinate content with center partners, and contribute to quarterly newsletters and web content efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years professional experience related to developing and disseminating informational material.
• Experience with editorial processes, publications, and content dissemination.
• Experience in media relations, newsletters and public information materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual media plan for NMVVRC/NCVC events and national communications; oversee social media strategy.
• Create and implement editorial vision for NMVVRC documents; support web content with CMS.
• Oversee NCVC news and promotional materials, and develop brochures for training programs.
• Manage marketing via LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter/X and other channels; produce quarterly newsletters.
• Direct the Public Information Coordinator; provide development guidance and performance feedback.
• Serve as primary content contact for stakeholders and advisory groups.
• Coordinate and produce NMVVRC podcast episodes and schedule guests.
