Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in organizational development, HR, or related field.
• At least four years of training & development experience.
• At least one year of data analytics experience to track participation and metrics.
• Strong knowledge of instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, AGILE).

Responsibilities

• Identifies and recommends public health customized training programs by performing needs assessment on a routine basis.
• Develops training materials by completing thorough research and assessing the needs of public health leadership.
• Facilitates engaging training classes and workshops in a hybrid environment (virtual & in-person).
• Collaborates with the Office/Division leadership to respond to training requests, and conduct training as appropriate.
• Assesses effectiveness of training programs based on participant feedback. Reports findings to Learning & Development Manager.
• Creates reports and briefings to update Learning & Development Manager on work status.
• Sources for external training vendors in compliance with the Harris County procurement policies.
• Partners with HCPH Employee Relations to address gaps in trainings based on trends.
