Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or related field with 3 years of public health experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Experience in program coordination, health education, or related roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program staff including coordinators, specialists, and support personnel.
• Serve as SME for public health domains such as chronic disease prevention, infectious disease control, environmental health, maternal and child health, or emergency preparedness.
• Oversee development, execution, and evaluation of multiple or complex public health programs, ensuring alignment with agency priorities, grant requirements, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership in policy development, strategic planning, and procedural implementation for assigned program areas.
• Monitor and evaluate program outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data to ensure efficiency, impact, and equity.
• Oversee budget development, fiscal reporting, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and compliant use of funds.
• Guide the preparation of grant applications, legislative reports, and program audits, and present findings to leadership or public health boards.
