Job summary

The State of Arkansas is seeking a Health Program Supervisor/Expert to lead one or more public health programs and ensure compliance with state and federal requirements. This role acts as the agency’s SME for a designated domain, guiding policy, planning, and program evaluation.

You will oversee budgeting, grant reporting, and audits while mentoring staff and aligning priorities with agency goals. Travel may be required to facilities and partners.

Qualifications

• Interpret laws/regulations and use data to inform decisions.
• Travel two to four nights per week is preferred.
• Survey or quality assurance review experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of one or more public health programs.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
• Oversee budget development, reporting, and grant activities.
• Provide technical leadership in policy and strategic planning.
• Monitor program outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data.
• Prepare legislative reports and conduct program audits.
