Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or a closely related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in public health, program coordination, or health education.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate program staff.
  • Serve as SME for public health domains such as chronic disease prevention, infectious disease control, environmental health, maternal and child health, or emergency preparedness.
  • Oversee the development, execution, and evaluation of multiple or complex public health programs, ensuring alignment with agency priorities, grant requirements, and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership in policy development, strategic planning, and procedural implementation for assigned program areas.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data to ensure efficiency, impact, and equity.
  • Oversee budget development, fiscal reporting, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and compliant use of funds.
  • Guide the preparation of grant applications, legislative reports, and program audits, and present findings to leadership or public health boards.
