Job summary

The Arkansas Department of Health is seeking a Health Program Coordinator to lead the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of public health programs. The role provides programmatic leadership and guidance to staff and partners, ensuring alignment with state goals and regulations.

You will coordinate with internal and external partners, manage program data and documentation, and facilitate trainings and public health initiatives across programs and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, health science, social work, education, public administration, or closely related field.
• Two years of public health, program coordination, or health education experience.
• Strong understanding of public health principles, program planning, and evaluation methods.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of state and federal public health regulations and funding requirements.
