Job summary

San Bernardino County Department of Public Health seeks a Public Health Software Developer to design and build business applications primarily on the Microsoft Power Platform. You will own development across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI, SharePoint, and related tools, from requirements to deployment and support.

The role requires 3 years in production environments and strong SQL/Power Platform skills, with governance and ALM experience.

Qualifications

Three (3) years of work experience in a production environment performing systems analysis and programming for development/automation of business applications.
Experience leading small-to-medium scale projects (at least 1 year).
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform architecture, governance, ALM, environment management, security, and deployment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance applications using Power Platform and related technologies.
Gather and analyze business, technical, operational, and regulatory requirements and translate them into designs.
Develop relational database solutions, advanced SQL queries, and data-processing logic.
Develop and maintain business rules, validation logic, calculations, and automation workflows.
Plan, test, and coordinate implementations and deployments; communicate status to stakeholders.
Ensure solutions comply with HIPAA, privacy, accessibility, and governance requirements.
