Job summary

Lumecg is seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer to drive design, development and governance of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environments. You will architect, implement and support Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and related technologies across SharePoint Online and Dataverse.

You will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, prepare documentation, create run-books, test, and train staff on new solutions and best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years delivering Microsoft application, automation, collaboration, or business-process solutions.
• 6+ years administering and customizing Power Platform in cloud environments.
• 6+ years designing and implementing Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, Dataverse).
• 6+ years building canvas and model-driven apps; 6+ years troubleshooting Power Automate.
• 6+ years with Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, connectors and governance.
• 6+ years integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, APIs, databases and enterprise systems.
• 6+ years ALM, packaging, testing, deployment and production support.
• 6+ years eliciting requirements and documenting technical/business needs.
• 4+ years with custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, or API Management.
• 3+ years in Agile delivery; backlog, sprints, demos, iterative delivery.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Power Platform Engineer to support a client’s Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environment.

This individual will lead the design, development, configuration, administration, integration, deployment, and operational support of solutions built using Microsoft Power Platform. The role will work extensively with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, model-driven applications, SharePoint Online, and related Microsoft 365 services.

The Senior Power Platform Engineer will work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, prepare documentation, develop operational run-books, coordinate testing, and provide training and knowledge transfer.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 or more years of experience delivering Microsoft application, automation, collaboration, or business-process solutions.
• At least 6 years of experience administering and customizing Microsoft Power Platform in a cloud environment.
• At least 6 years of experience designing and implementing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, model-driven applications, and related Microsoft 365 services.
• 6 years demonstrated experience developing canvas applications and model-driven applications.
• 6 years experience developing and troubleshooting Power Automate workflows.
• 6 years experience with Power BI, Power Pages, Dataverse, connectors, and Power Platform environments.
• 6 years experience configuring data loss prevention policies, security roles, environment controls, and Power Platform governance.
• 6 years experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• 6 years experience with application lifecycle management, solution packaging, testing, deployment, and production support.
• 6 years experience eliciting requirements and preparing business, technical, operational, and user documentation.
• 4 years experience with custom connectors, APIs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, or API Management.
• 3 years experience working in Agile delivery environments, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and iterative delivery.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications in Power Platform development, functional consulting, business analysis, or solution architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a California state government, healthcare, insurance, or other regulated organization.
• Experience developing accessible applications that meet public-sector accessibility requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or AI-enabled Power Platform capabilities.
