Wellness Pointe is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide health care services under physician supervision in Texas. You will examine patients, document health histories, and contribute to comprehensive care planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, diagnostic testing, patient education, and adherence to confidentiality policies in a clinical setting. This position requires eligibility for Texas certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physician Assistant in Texas or eligible for certification by Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, in general or community health.
• Ability to adhere to client policies including confidentiality.
• Must possess valid Texas driver’s license and meet auto liability requirements.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients by performing physical examinations and obtaining medical histories.
• Formulate medical plans and prognosis based on patient condition.
• Consult with physicians on patient care plans and treatments.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests as needed for patient care.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Counsel patients and families on health and illness and promote prevention.
