Texas Health Resources is seeking a Physician Assistant to perform follow-up and health maintenance care for patients in accordance with established protocols and supervising physician instructions.

Responsibilities include initiating treatment and testing based on training, counseling patients, documenting care, and performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as directed, while maintaining HIPAA compliance. A Texas licensed PA with a Master’s degree is required; CME requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 2 years of PA experience preferred.
• Texas PA license in good standing.
• Master's degree required for PA practice.
• CME requirements to maintain licensure.

Responsabilités

• Provide follow up and health maintenance care to patients per established protocols or instructions from supervising physician.
• Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for evaluation of illness based on training and experience.
• Provide counseling and instruction to patients regarding health-related issues.
• Document clinical care of the patient according to established guidelines.
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures as indicated by training and directed by supervising physician.
• Communicate with patients and families within state law confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and other related initiatives.
