Job summary

The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County is seeking OPS Registered Nurses for Sanford, FL. Under the supervision of the ADON, you will deliver professional nursing care in Immunization and Clinical Services, review records for missing doses, and prepare forms for school, college or travel requirements.

Responsibilities include administering Family Planning, STD, HIV services, and completing electronic documentation in HMS.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid State of FL Registered Nurse License in good standing.
• Verifiable direct patient care experience within the last two years.
• Willing to work before/during beyond normal hours for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Administers immunizations and performs nursing duties in Immunization Program and Clinical Services.
• Provides Family Planning, STD, BCCEDP and HIV services and completes HMS documentation.
• Assists in education, health fairs, and community events; supports disaster response activities.
• Maintains accurate superbill to aid checkout and billing for clients.
