Florida Department of Health in Bay County is seeking an OPS Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing services in clinics and assist other clinicians on site. You will manage vaccine inventory, administer immunizations, collect health data, document in patient records, and support immunization outreach both on-site and off-site as needed.

The ideal candidate is a licensed LPN, capable of independent work, with strong organizational and communication skills, willing to work flexible hours

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN and able to obtain required credentials.
• Proficiency in basic nursing procedures and patient care.
• Ability to document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical nursing services in clinics and assist clinicians and health staff.
• Back-up to VFC Coordinator; manage vaccine inventory and orders.
• Administer medications and immunizations per local protocols.
• Counsel and educate clients, parents, and guardians on immunizations and health topics.
• Document assessments and services in patient records; complete EARs and reports.
