Genesee County Health Department is seeking a qualified public health nurse to plan, organize and perform broad professional public health nursing functions, coordinating health programs across agencies and communities.
The candidate will coordinate services, promote community health, and lead program activities with supervision as required. Requires BSN and valid Michigan RN license with public health nursing experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Starting Pay: $33.7346 Hourly ($70,168)
Step A: $34.8861 Hourly ($72,563)
Step B: $35.9322 Hourly ($74,739)
Step C: $37.0106 Hourly ($76,982)
Step D: $38.1216 Hourly ($79,293)
Step E: $39.2644 Hourly ($81,670)
Minimum Qualifications -AND- one (1) year of experience in public health nursing;
Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) -AND- three (3) years' experience in public health nursing.
Special Requirements
Must be registered as a nurse in the State of Michigan or possess a temporary permit pending final registration.
Employees in this classification must possess a valid Michigan driver's license and must have a vehicle for use on county business.
