Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma and 1+ year relevant work experience.
• Basic science knowledge to perform testing and obtain results.
• Follows safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples by recording, weighing, and blending.
• Label plates to track client and sample numbers.
• Pipette samples into tubes or plates per analysis process.
• Pour agar and begin growth process.
• Incubate plates at specified time and temperature.
• Prepare media and broth for pathogen testing.
• Maintain knowledge of LIMS and complete documentation.
• Ensure equipment and materials are ready for analysis.
• Support quality improvement processes.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitized; assist in housekeeping.
