Job summary

The NYC Health Department is seeking a Technology Project Manager to lead multiple initiatives supporting current and future response applications and pandemic preparedness. The role emphasizes project planning, vendor coordination, and performance metrics to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in IT operations, project management, or technical analysis, with strong reporting skills in Excel/Power BI/Tableau and experience guiding multi-team efforts across DBA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, data visualization, communication or related field, and four years of related experience with relevant technology
• Associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, data visualization, communication or related field, and six years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and eight years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Manage project initiatives with third party vendors to meet quality standards, on time and on budget
• Oversee the Business Analysis process for the new response ready application
• Develop a project schedule and rollout plan, oversee deployment into production
• Be responsible for the execution of the project from start to finish
• Triage issues and manage production support
• Articulate and report project status to stakeholders and management
• Conduct status meetings and report outcomes
