Job summary

City of Abilene is seeking an IT Specialist to maintain and support the ATCPHD data network and EHR system. You will serve as the super-user for EHR, manage user access, provide training, and assist with reporting to support program performance.

Qualifications include 1–3 years in computer tech support, knowledge of Windows and networking, and experience with EHR systems. This is a full-time on-site role with a focus on data integrity and system workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of computer tech support experience preferred.
• Experience with EHR or healthcare information systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and end-user training skills.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare computers for installation using imaging software and configuration tasks.
• Install computer systems, peripherals, and software; handle networking and power management.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software malfunctions and perform vendor coordination as needed.
• Provide user training and support for EHR and other health software.
• Monitor data quality, run audits, and assist with reporting requirements.
• Serve as super-user for EHR with access management and security responsibilities.
• Collaborate with staff to resolve system issues and improve workflows.
