Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university with current Georgia RN license.
• Two years of Public Health Nursing (PHN) experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, guides, and assigns work to subordinate staff.
• Provides professional nursing care per nurse protocols and policies.
• Prevents illness and promotes population health.
• Cares for populations during disasters and emergencies; intervenes in TB/HIV/STI contexts.
• Delivers treatments, vaccines, and preventive care as per care plans.
• Conducts community needs assessments and develops care plans.
• Coordinates services with providers and community organizations.
