Qualifications

• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of data management and HIPAA.
• Experience reviewing documents for compliance with laws, rules and policies.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and supports public health data management to ensure data quality and access.
• Provides ongoing consultative support to county health department staff regarding HMS billing changes to comply with state/federal requirements.
• Leads redesign of HMS Billing functionality including planning, analysis, training and testing.
• Provides technical and process support for HMS application, including registration, scheduling, billing, time reporting and reporting functions.
• Identifies problems and coordinates resolution strategies with county health departments and program areas.
• Conducts training events and maintains training materials and user documentation.
• Conducts HMS User Group calls and drafts meeting minutes for dissemination.
• Acts as technical lead for Practice Management audits and supports related dashboards/reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
