Job summary

Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) in Delaware seeks a Section Chief for Equity, Performance, Integration & Communication (EPIC). You will lead the Bureau of Health Equity, Office of Communications, and Office of Performance Management, driving health equity, strategic planning, and performance improvements across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Three years' experience in public health administration.
• Three years' experience in public health planning.
• Three years' experience in developing policies and procedures.
• Three years' experience in operations management.

Responsibilities

• Directs state-wide programs, staff and fiscal activities.
• Reviews policies and procedures and initiates changes.
• Manages diverse health-related activities involving varied expertise.
• Represents the Division at meetings and conferences.
• Develops new programs and methodologies to meet goals.
• Prepares reports and oversees reporting functions.
