Job summary

ISLAND PEER REVIEW ORGANIZATION INC is seeking a Health Services Researcher to lead evaluation of Connecticut tobacco control initiatives. You will analyze healthcare and population data, develop reports and dashboards, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for CT DPH and stakeholders.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, experience with public health evaluation, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in Albany or Jericho, NY offices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quantitative research methods, program evaluation, and statistical analysis techniques.
• Proficiency with analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel.
• Ability to synthesize and communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to support statewide tobacco prevention and cessation evaluation.
• Manage and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
• Develop data collection protocols, data dictionaries, analytics specifications, QA processes, and documentation.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure integrity of findings.
• Develop dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations across projects.
