Job summary

CICATELLI ASSOCIATES INC in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Program Manager to oversee tobacco control health initiatives, focusing on the SAMHSA-funded CoE-TFR. You will manage day-to-day activities, coordinate learning communities, and collaborate with evaluation, communications, and curriculum teams.

The role requires a Master’s in public health or related field with 5+ years’ experience, strong project management and stakeholder engagement, and ~15–20% travel.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in public health or related field and/or 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing public health, behavioral health, tobacco control, TA, or health systems improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health and recovery systems and related policy/workforce factors.
  • Familiarity with tobacco use and evidence-based tobacco use treatment integration.
  • Experience designing and delivering technical assistance, capacity building, coaching, or training.
  • Strong project management, facilitation, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel ~15–20% annually.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day implementation of CoE-TFR activities and create implementation plans.
  • Coordinate Tobacco-Free Recovery Learning Community activities and state engagement.
  • Serve as primary contact for state teams and deliver proactive/ondemand TA.
  • Apply implementation science and quality improvement approaches to adapt strategies.
  • Collaborate with evaluation, communications and curriculum teams.
  • Develop and monitor workplans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Prepare for funder meetings and represent CAI at meetings.
