Job summary

Office of State Health Care Facilities at the Louisiana Department of Health seeks a dedicated Program Manager 1--A to oversee OSHCF contracts, leases, and grants, coordinating with leadership, vendors, and fiscal personnel to ensure compliance and timely documentation.

The role requires evaluating complex health service programs, drafting statements of work, tracking approvals, renewals, and performance, and advising LDH leadership on budget and procurement matters.

Qualifications

• Seven years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.
• Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus four years in relevant health/public service program work.
• Bachelor’s degree plus four years of relevant experience; or advanced degree/JD with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Works with fiscal, vendors, and facility leadership to prepare contracts/leases and statements of work; coordinates contract-related problems with OSHCF administrators.
• Prepares and reviews reports to ensure costs are allowable; tracks contract performance evaluations and compliance with laws/regulations.
• Maintains contract, lease, grant, and procurement documents in relevant systems; manages contract status, renewals, amendments, and reporting.
