Job summary

Louisiana State University is seeking a Grants Manager in the LSUAM ORED Operations - Research Programs to provide administrative and financial support for Health Affairs funded projects. The role focuses on grant accounting, reporting, and compliance across multiple initiatives.

The position collaborates with the Office of Research & Economic Development, Principal Investigators, and sponsored programs staff to monitor performance, prepare budgets, and ensure accurate funding allocations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in grants or health research funding.
• Experience with budgets and financial reporting for research programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and financial support for multi-institutional research programs and ensure grant accounting.
• Coordinate post-award activities, RPPRs, annual reports, no-cost extensions and fund modifications.
• Monitor budgets, expenditures and variances across Principal Investigator portfolios.
• Support payroll, procurement, travel, events and collaborator expenses and allocate to correct budgets.
• Assist with budget preparation and ensure appropriate distribution of funds.
