Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in public health or other related field.
• 5-7 years’ project management experience.
• Understanding of public health and healthcare delivery system.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Skills in project management, cultural awareness, health equity, creative problem solving and innovation.
• Strong technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and resource management.
• Proficiency with communication tools such as Constant Contact and Adobe Express.
• Strong judgment, organizational skills, attention to detail and business acumen.
• Ability to manage multiple timelines and prioritize competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
• Partner with DPH’s Communications Office and Commissioner’s Office to develop and implement a robust online presence for OHSP.
• Represent OHSP and HWC at events including recruitment, conferences, and professional association events.
• Lead development and maintenance of OHSP distribution lists by topic area and project.
• Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review; and escalating issues appropriately.
• Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet stakeholder needs.
• Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort.
• Manages one or more cross-functional projects of varying complexity.
• Maintain collegial, productive relationships with colleagues and partners.
• Clearly communicate policies and procedures to non-technical audiences.
