Job summary

King County's Public Health – Seattle & King County (PHSKC) seeks a graduate student intern (up to 19 hours/week) to support the APDE unit. You will help design communications plans for the CDC PHIG grant, write success stories, and maintain SharePoint resources while collaborating with PHIG leads and community partners.

Qualifications

• Graduate student in a relevant program with strong writing ability.
• Experience communicating to varied audiences in health or public-interest contexts.
• Familiarity with data visualization and graphic design for dissemination.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Evaluator to design and implement a PHIG communications plan.
• Create internal PHIG newsletters and success stories.
• Maintain SharePoint resources and assist with evaluation presentations.
• Draft key PHIG messages and contribute to dissemination products.
• Support professional development per supervisor guidance.
