Job summary

AmeriCorps Gem State Public Health program in Idaho (Pocatello) seeks a part-time Client Management Support member to assist public health programs by supporting client services, data collection, and needs assessments. You will coordinate trainings (ASIST, SOS, safeTALK) and help connect clients with mental health resources.

The role includes participating in program duties, coordinating meetings, training materials, and supporting residents with shelter exits.

Qualifications

• Experience in counseling or social services settings preferred.
• Currently pursuing a degree in social work, sociology or psychology.

Responsibilities

• Provide client case management support for shelter residents.
• Assist with data collection of homeless history during intake.
• Connect clients with mental health and other wellness resources.
• Help complete needs assessments.
• Assist with other support duties to achieve successful exits from the shelter.
