Job summary

AmeriCorps Gem State Public Health program in Idaho seeks an Assessment Center Specialist to support community health services through screenings, case management, and youth mental health workshops. You will coordinate ASIST, SOS, and safeTALK trainings, assist at the front desk, collect data, and help connect youth and families with local resources.

Applicants should have sociology, social work, or related mental health coursework; position is part time with an education award and living

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements: Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or other mental health related college courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screenings, case management, and youth mental health workshops.
• Support the front desk by welcoming clients, community members and students.
• Perform data collection, analysis and reporting; locate services for youth and families.
• Provide supervision of mental health education and community activities.
