Job summary

AmeriCorps' Gem State Public Health program in Idaho seeks a Prevention Educator to support suicide prevention initiatives and training coordination. The role includes coordinating ASIST, SOS, and safeTALK trainings, conducting needs assessments, and building partnerships with local public health agencies.

You will prepare materials, analyze data, and assist with community outreach to expand impact. Part-time position with a living allowance and education award upon completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong writing and public speaking skills desired.
• Ability to engage with diverse communities and partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and support Living Works ASIST, SOS, and safeTALK trainings.
• Prepare training materials and coordinate training sessions for community members.
• Perform data analysis and impact reporting to measure program outcomes.
• Develop partnerships with public health agencies and community organizations.
