Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with five years of related experience, including two years in supervision.
• Must possess a valid Georgia Class B CDL and maintain a clean MVR.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and ability to supervise and coordinate labor crews.
• Ability to read charts, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience with maintaining city buildings and grounds.

Responsibilities

• Supervises labor crews in the field.
• Maintains city facilities and grounds, including street right-of-ways and landscaping.
• Selects equipment and materials to complete work per specifications; adapts tools to meet needs.
• Provides equipment and transportation for the right‑of‑ways crews.
• Assists crews with jobs as needed; operates heavy equipment as required.
• Ensures labor crews follow safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates work with City departments, agencies, and suppliers.
• Maintains compliance with all applicable laws and safety standards.
• Performs other related duties as necessary.
