The City of Westfield (IN) seeks a seasoned Financial Planning and Reporting Manager to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and audits. You will ensure GAAP/GASB adherence and provide analytical support to leadership, reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Active CPA license.
• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of governmental fund accounting, GAAP, and GASB.
• Proficiency in government accounting systems and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare periodic and non-recurring financial reports in compliance with applicable standards, contractual, legal and policy requirements.
• Analyze financial results by comparing actual performance to budget and forecast, identifying trends and variances.
• Assist in developing and implementing automated accounting processes and support new accounting system implementations.
• Support the preparation and audit of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR).
• Assist with the preparation of the Annual Financial Report.
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the City’s annual budget.
• Maintain and update the Capital Asset Database.
• Assist with debt reporting and related financial disclosures.
• Support departmental projects under the Director of Financial Planning & Reporting.
