You will draft, review and maintain documents, manage calendars, coordinate meetings and closings, and communicate with attorneys and clients with a focus on accuracy and client service.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of public finance paralegal experience, a paralegal certificate or associate degree, and strong Word and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience as a public finance paralegal in a law firm.
• Paralegal certificate, associate’s degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, edit and maintain documents, memos, reports, correspondence, and other similar documents
• Perform complex paralegal duties requiring knowledge of legal terminology and legal processes from inception to completion
• Maintain and manage calendars for applicable transaction deadlines
• Communicate regularly with clients to track progress and resolve issues
• Place required legal notices in newspapers
• Schedule and coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and closings
• Proofread own work and the work of others
• Other responsibilities as needed
