Job summary

The Department of Vermont Health Access (DVHA) in Waterbury is seeking a Financial Administrator to join its Analytics Unit in the Business Office. This hybrid, Monday–Friday role focuses on strengthening financial data tracking and internal controls while supporting public health programs.

The successful candidate will use Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, contribute to process improvements, and align with DVHA values of transparency, integrity and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years accounting experience.
• OR Associate degree in accounting or business with 2+ years accounting experience.
• OR Bachelor's degree in accounting or business.
• One year+ of experience as a Financial Specialist III with the State of Vermont.
• GAAP compliance knowledge and experience.
