Job summary

Dynatrace seeks a Developer Advocate to drive Bluebox awareness among developers. You will be the public face under your own name, building credibility by delivering real demos, content, and live sessions that show what the product does and does not do yet.

You will publish deep technical walks, run streams and workshops, speak at events, and gather feedback to guide product roadmap while traveling up to 25% for conferences.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in developer-facing work with real-time experience.
• Hands-on coding with personal demos and sample projects.
• Daily use of AI coding agents as core infrastructure.
• Production instincts from on-call or debugging in production.
• Startup or growth-stage experience and willingness to move fast.
• Ability to speak publicly about a new product and its story.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for events and conferences.
• Independent contributor capable of owning strategy and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be the public face of Bluebox under your own name and voice.
• Build community presence on Discord, Hacker News, Reddit, Bluesky, and X.
• Write original technical content including deep dives and use-case walkthroughs.
• Run livestreams, videos, and workshops with real, runnable demos.
• Speak at conferences and meetups to drive adoption.
• Help users share stories through blogs, videos, and talks.
• Identify friction in quickstart/docs/onboarding and propose patterns.
• Co-create with influencers and partners; align with Marketing.
• Be measured on sign-ups and actual Bluebox usage.
