Job summary

The Carver County Assessor's Office is seeking an Administrative Assistant with strong customer service to support appraisers and maintain property records, handling appeals and day-to-day tasks. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years administrative support experience.
• Associates Degree / Certificate Program completion and 1 year of administrative support experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and maintains property assessment record keeping systems within the Assessor's Department.
• Scans, annotates, edits, and indexes documents in storage applications while ensuring confidentiality and security.
• Researches and maintains personal property and manufactured home information.
• Performs various assessment calculations using a calculator or computer.
• Performs receptionist duties for efficient dissemination of information to the public.
• Assists taxpayers with completing various applications, including homesteading.
• Uses computer software applications for recording and retrieval of information.
• Processes Electronic Certificates of Real Estate Value in a timely manner.
• Performs other comparable duties as assigned.
