Job summary

ATC is seeking a Public Engagement Program Manager in Wisconsin to lead integrated communications and stakeholder engagement that strengthen ATC's reputation and foster dialogue with diverse audiences.

The role drives digital campaigns, content development, and measurable outcomes across platforms, translating complex energy topics into clear messages; relocation to Wisconsin is required as the role is not 100% remote.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and executing digital communication strategies.
• Strong content creation, storytelling, and editorial planning expertise.
• Experience managing website content strategy and digital platforms.
• Experience establishing a social media strategy, followership, and engagement.
• Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging messages.
• Strong stakeholder engagement or public affairs experience.
• Experience using communication metrics and analytics to inform strategy.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Digital Media, Political Science, Public Affairs, or a related field.

• Create communication strategies that support project development and stakeholder relations.
• Explain the value of transmission infrastructure and its role in reliability.
• Oversee digital communications ecosystem across websites and social platforms.
• Develop integrated digital campaigns and accessible content.
• Translate complex regulatory topics into clear messages.
• Lead editorial planning and content development across channels.
• Support engagement with communities, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
• Build transparency, trust and measurable engagement outcomes.
• Assist with issue management communications and reputation-building.
